Prologue

            Kneeling before the throne of the Almighty, Obadiah took in the scene around him. Firelight flickered across the room from the lamps surrounding the throne; casting a steady glow around the entire space. Closing his eyes, he listened intently to the voices of the Seraphim flying overhead. As they circled the entire room they cried out praises to the one true God and His Son; who was seated at His right hand. Thunder and lightning rang out from the throne pulling Obadiah’s attention to the Almighty. He blinked swiftly before openly staring at the vision of God seated on his throne. Rainbows bursting with light surrounded the Lord’s face, adding a brilliance of color to the entire room.

Obadiah’s closest friends and brothers in Christ kneeled directly beside him. He quickly glanced towards them, noticing the expressions of awe and wonder that were splayed across their faces. The heavy bronzed doors in the back of the room groaned as they opened; admitting dozens of other men. Immediately, as one, the group bent their knees while bowing their heads. Taking a deep breath Obadiah let his eyes scan the room around him as he waited for an explanation of why he had been called to this holy place.

Fixed! It's Fixed!

I recently got an email from the kindle publisher's group who told me that my e-book had some errors in it's formatting that prevented kindle users who used a black background from reading my book. I believe this problem has been fixed and I wanted to apologize for any inconveniences.

For all of you who have read my book, you'll understand the need for a updated cover!!!! This was actually what the original cover was supposed to look like; but we ran into some technical issues when the book came out. So without further ado, here is the original book cover!!! I thought I might give you the first description of my book right here on my blog!!!




Logan was raised to be a good man. He was raised to serve others. He was raised as a believer. He has plans. Plans to return to the mission field after graduation. Plans to follow in his parents' footsteps. Plans that don't include a brown eyed girl from a small town.

Kaycee learned a long time ago to keep her head down and just go with the flow. Her parents are detached and her friends are fake. She has plans. Plans to get away and go to Art School in New York. Plans that don't include a blue eyed boy. 

Neither of them planned for each other, but both of them will have to decide whether their love is worth changing all of their plans.

And my beloved is Mine

I am frantically working on my first book, And my Beloved is Mine, with the hope that I will have finished and available in e-book format by Valentine's Day. I have spent quite a bit of time and energy on this project. My goal at first was to write a young adult romance book that wasn't so centered around the physical appearances or sex. I have nieces and nephews who are reaching or have already reached the young adult age, and it worries me at the information that is out there in the young adult world. Hopefully you will get a look at my book this Thursday! It is something that has weighed heavily on my heart to produce, to give the young adults out their an alternative to the material that is dominating that genre. So keep your fingers crossed for me as I work frantically to have this book out there by Valentine's Day!
